Plans, billing and limits
Use Billing to view available plans, current subscription, features and quotas. Pricing and limits come from the current catalogue; the dashboard is the place to check them before purchase.
Start by checking whether the account already has an active plan. If so, confirm that it belongs to SyAuth and includes the feature you need before starting another subscription. A quota is the number of resources, such as users or clients, the plan allows.
For a free plan, select the activation action. For a paid subscription, complete the offered checkout and wait for activation to succeed. An approved checkout must be verified before the new plan becomes active. If activation fails, keep the transaction/subscription reference and contact support; avoid repeating a purchase blindly.
The check that matters is the plan appearing as active/current in Billing after activation. If you approved payment but that status has not changed, record the reference and error and resolve activation before continuing setup. Creating another API token will not activate the plan.
A valid token does not bypass a plan restriction or a reached resource quota. Read the response to distinguish missing permissions from limits on users, clients, groups, provider configurations or other resources. Upgrading may enable a feature, but ownership and token-scope checks still apply.
If a new account cannot load plans or activate a free plan, see account access. A 200 response with an empty plans list does not establish that no plans exist; retry and report persistent catalogue failures.
For automation, plan operations distinguish your active user-plan ID from catalogue plan IDs.
